Album Review: COIN - 'I'm Not Afraid of Music Anymore'

This album is not complete comparison to their previous albums, though there are similar qualities. This includes, choral background vocals, heavy bass lines, fuzzy indie vocals, and lyrics connecting this current album to previous work they have created.

Though COIN did make this album about where the members are in life respectively. The album does come across as relatable to most life circumstances. Some of the themes at play include heartbreak, interpersonal relationships, and many other life experiences.

This album feels familiar, this album feels comfortable and you can truly dissect any song on this album and find a relatable piece. This album gives end of summer energy, driving with the windows down on the highway, and just truly living. Overall, I'd recommend it because it's perfect end of summer kind of vibe.
