Every month we feature various artists on the rise to share with you. These artists are making noise on the local, regional, or national level. Our main goal is to introduce you to new music! Here are five artists/bands on the rise in no particular order.
1. Claud - Claud is a recent signee to Phoebe Bridgers' Saddest Factory Records (in affiliation with Dead Oceans). They just put our their new single "Gold" and it is a killer tune. After diving deeper into their catalog, I can say it only gets better. Check them out ASAP!
2. Sun June - Sun June are another band with new music out that is absolutely stunning. They just released their new single "Karen O" and announced the release of their new album Somewhere that drops in February of 2021. Give them a listen!
3. October and the Eyes - Displaying a unique blend of electronic and alt, October and the Eyes is the solo project of October. With her recent release of "All My Love" and the announcement of her debut EP Dogs and Gods which will drop November 20th, you gotta jump on the bandwagon here.
4. MOURN - With their new album Self Worth set to release at the end of October, Spanish punk rockers Mourn are strapped firmly into a rocket ship headed for great things. Give their unique version of punk a listen, we think you'll dig.
5. Duncan Fellows - Austin, TX's own Duncan Fellows are able to blend indie and alt into something that feels grander. Their new album The Sadlands just dropped yesterday and we highly encourage you give it a listen. You can catch our review of the album here.
