Collector's Corner: George Harrison - 'Living in the Material World' 50th Anniversary Edition

50 years ago, Beatles tour de force George Harrison came out with his second solo LP Living in the Material World. What has been considered some of Harrison's most spiritual work over his career, the tracks on this LP continue to have relevance for our lives. Harrison has donated the proceeds of 9 of the 11 tracks on the album to his charity in perpetuity, so when you get this special edition vinyl, know your money goes to a great cause!

These specific special edition LP's were overseen by family, specifically Dhani and Olivia Harrison. Additionally, the tracks were remixed by three-time GRAMMY Award winner Paul Hicks (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon). When put on a vinyl, these tracks pop off brighter and richer than I've ever heard them. The LP release is accompanied by the release of a 60-page hardcover book that features unseen imagery, lyrics, and more!

The album features great artwork and photographs featuring Harrison and company. The music is unmatched, we'll truly go up to bat and say that Harrison was among the best at his craft, including his fellow Beatles members. The vinyl is pressed on standard black and comes with a nice vintage label that reminds you of digging through crates of vintage records. You can tell a lot of time and effort has been put into the preservation of these songs and the message of George Harrison. If you're a vinyl collector, this one is can't miss!
