Concert Review: Cage the Elephant and Young the Giant - Cincinnati, OH

Kicking off the evening in Cincinnati, OH at Riverbend was the first supporting act, BAKAR. This man had energy for days. He was in the crowd, running all over stage and playing his well known song “ Hell 'N Back “. Bakar had an amazing stage presence performance that lived up to the hype!

Up next was alt stars Young the Giant. The band kicked their evening off with dreamy lighting, playing about fifteen songs with the entire crowd eating out of their hand singing every song. The group from Irvine, California held the stage down for their set with such command, as they were lead by lead singer Sameer Gadhia.

Last but not certainly not least was Cage the Elephant who hail from Bowling Green, KY. Unfortunately for lead singer Matt Schultz, he had a broken foot which required the use of a scooter device. That didn't hold the band back as they put on the best performance I've ever seen! Cage the Elephant played over twenty songs. They even played a cover of Djo's "End of the Beginning". Cage held their own throughout their set and delivered what has to be the most high energy performance I have ever seen and many of the crowd as well. We were all in awe by the band's electricity.
