Kaleo Live at The Factory in St. Louis!

I’m going to be honest…it’s been awhile since I’ve been to a show that didn't have a circle pit or wall of death forming. That being said, both Kaleo and Larkin Poe put on a show that thoroughly impressed me.

Denim, sparkles, mad pipes, and a slide guitar. Larkin Poe opened the show with a high energy performance that caught everyone's attention. Let’s be real, when I saw the entire band in matching denim (I had a little bit of a Justin/Brittany red carpet flashback) I knew I wanted to see what came next. Led by sisters Rebecca Lovell and Megan Lovell, this band packed a punch from their first note. They owned every inch of the stage and brought Southern rock to our very Midwestern city.

Kaleo then entered and had the crowd cheering from the moment they stepped on stage. This band has so many great songs that it was hard not to bop along (oh and I did, camera and all). I was very impressed by the talent these musicians brought. I have always been a fan of the raw, bluesy vocals this band delivers and hearing them live for the first time did not disappoint. It is not everyday you see the harmonica making an appearance on stage and let me tell you…it went hard! I highly recommend seeing them live. If you haven’t yet, go check them out on Spotify.
